Need information regarding newly installation of KeyHelp.
Is the default is to scan all incoming emails before forwarding or do I need to adjust some configuration to make sure every email should be scanned for possible spam before getting forwarded.
Thank you
SPAM scan before forwarding
Re: SPAM scan before forwarding
A forwarding is a forwarding and will not be filtered as far as I know.
But it works fine if you make a real mail account (min. size) and set up filter rules in it.... see attached screenshots!
Hope that helps

Re: SPAM scan before forwarding
I have googled more about this SCAN before FORWARD things and find following article really suit my problem and maybe for other KeyHelp users here with same problem :
https://aikar.co/2014/09/05/filtering-s ... massassin/
I have a clean dedicated IP from AWS and need to be really careful for IP reputation so careless email forwardings will result to irrecoverable damage to my AWS account.

Re: SPAM scan before forwarding
The Spam Forward email threat is real, it turns out Google has outlined its rules regarding FORWARDING outside emails into GMAIL ecosystem.

I quote one paragraph from that rules from Google.

Can anyone confirm we have implement that kind of measurements/anticipation of Google rules in KeyHelp? Some email software or services change the envelope sender to your domain when forwarding messages. If the envelope sender is changed to your domain for forwarded spam, Gmail might learn that your domain sends spam. Gmail might treat future messages from your domain as spam.
Re: SPAM scan before forwarding
The envelop sender is not changed by a forward with the default configuration of KeyHelp. So Google should not reduce the credibility of the forwarding address.
You can check this by having a look into the source code of the email.
