Error when adding new remote server

Post by tejy »

Hello KeyHelp team!

Operating system + version
Debian 10.8 (64-bit)

KeyHelp version + build number
11.0 (Build 2195)

Virtualization
Hetzner Cloud (QEMU/KVM)

Problem description
When I try to launch the backup test connection, it takes 5/10 sec, and it displays the error "An error occurred. Directory is not writable, cannot write test file." I can see a file called "Keyhelp-Remote-Test.dat', even after this error, but still stucked with the 0 bytes size.

Steps to Reproduce
As I'm hosting my own FTP server backed by an S3 bucket, I can create a new account on my FTP server to try out.
Once you've added FTP information, check the error displayed.

Expected behavior
The connection test must be successful.

Actual behavior
It still displays the error "An error occurred. Directory is not writable, cannot write test file."

Additional information
Additional logs are available here:
https://pastebin.com/S43nFdsg
Please note that:
-the upload of any file is working via FileZilla
-the upload of any file is working via the FTP in CLI (installed by homebrew)
-I've tried to use the "passive mode", but the issue still persists
-it's working well with another FTP account on another server

Let me know if you need further details.
