A Windows user reinstalls software every few weeks.
A Linux user reinstalls software every few weeks.
The difference is with Linux the version numbers change.

Please stop sending such things (1st comment) without any context! This is like changing the system PHP version of KeyHelp and later ask "Why does my KeyHelp not work". I mean, if someone would like to break the system in the long run, sure go for things like that...

Do you want to reduce the snapshot count (and therefor the size) of a backup?
-> Go to Backup -> Repository management -> select the repository you like -> and set the max snapshot counter to a value you like.
Shortly, a new backup maintenance job will start and delete the old snapshots.
