Installation bleibt stehen

Hi,

ich nutze ein komplett frisches Debian 9 und habe versucht KeyHelp zu installieren.
Ich habe das ganze als root user gestartet (ist das überhaupt empfehlenswert? Habe es so verstanden, dass ich es so machen muss)

Leider bleibt es einfach hier stehen:

Kann ich mit irgendwelchen Logs dienen, die beim Debuggen helfen?

Aber sicher als root installierst Du alles.
Was hast du denn im Terminal eingegeben? Deinen Code habe ich ja noch nie gesehen. Und bei Debian 9 was war das für eine Neuinstallation? Debian minimal?

Mal eine etwas andere Frage, ist das ein Server der im Netz steht oder ein Homeserver oder OpenVZ virtualisiertes System? Welcher Hoster ggf.?

Vielleicht hilft das ja auch weiter?

Hey,

nein ist es nicht. Es ist eine virtuelle Maschine die im RZ steht. Ich glaube es wird mit KVM virtualisiert (hab die so vom Hoster übergeben bekommen).
Der Hoster ist klein und lokal und wird kaum Aufschluss darauf geben, was die einsetzen (man kennt die nicht).

Bisher hatte ich aber noch nie Probleme mit Kompatibilitäten.

Ich hatte den einen Thread schon gesehen, aber ich erhalte ja gar keine Fehlermeldung in die Richtung. Es bleibt einfach stehen :D

Hallo,

das / Dateisystem ist vorhanden (in der Ausgabe von mount etwas weiter oben, musste da zugegeben auch etwas suchen).

Was sind denn die letzten Ausgaben in /var/log/keyhelp/install.log? Wird dort ein Error gemeldet?

Unter KVM sollte eine Installation üblicherweise ohne weiteres klappen. Im Zweifel hier ggf. die Installation per ISO im virtuellen DVD-ROM einmal manuell ausführen statt hier ein fertiges Image zu nehmen.

Danke für die Info, hatte es übersehen.

Das Verzeichnis (/var/log/keyhelp/install.log) existiert leider überhaupt nicht.

Ich habe halt auch mal geschaut ob es irgendwo logs gibt, wüsste aber nicht wo.
Damit dort Logs erstellt werden müsste es erstmal zum installieren kommen, oder? Scheint ja noch davor irgendwo zu haken.

Also ich habe keinen Einfluss darauf wie Debian installiert wird. Ich weiß nur, dass KVM/Puppet vom Hoster benutzt werden, aber ich kriege nur die fertige Installation aufgetischt.

Im Verzeichniss /var/log/ liegen die logs.

Je nach Systemressouren kann die Installation aber auch etwas dauern....
Ist genügend RAM / Space zur Verfügung?

Danke für Eure Antworten.

Grundsätzlich weiß ich wo die Logs des System liegen, jedoch finden sich dort keine relevanten Informationen zur Installation (oder schaue ich falsch)?

Ressourcen sollten mehr als genügend vorhanden sein...400 GB freier Platz, 8 GB RAM, 4 CPU's und noch nichts installiert....

Ich habe auch schon >30 Minuten gewartet...so lange bis die SSH-Session Ihr timeout hat.

Kurzes Update: Der Status oben ist seit Ewigkeiten unverändert. Es sieht so aus, als wäre es ein IPv6-Problem. Nachdem wir die .sh mit einem -4 nach jedem wget versehen hatten, ging der Download sofort durch. Ich hatte leider das install.php komplett vergessen, weshalb es jetzt wieder hängt. Er versucht sich die Dateien per IPv6 vom Keyhelp-Server zu ziehen und das passiert extreeeem langsam bzw. bleibt irgendwann sogar komplett stehen. Ein Kollege prüft gerade ob es an meiner Maschine oder dem Server liegt.

Es wird nur mit 1,5 kb/s runtergerladen. Es kommt immer nur ein Paket nach dem anderen bei mir an.
Ich habe eben mal von verschiedenen Servern die IPv6-Adressen unterstützen downloads gestartet und hatte das Problem bisher nur mit dem Keyhelp-Server.


EDIT: Ein Kollege mit 2 Debian-Servern hat es auch mal von beiden getestet und das gleiche Problem gehabt. Keine Ahnung woran es liegt...

EDIT2: Nachdem ich IPv6 für die Installation temporär deaktiviert habe, klappt es bei mir auf jeden Fall. Vielleicht möchte Keyhelp ja mal schauen, ob es irgendein Problem auf dem Download-Server gibt? Mit Sicherheit können meine Kollegen nicht sagen an wem es liegt, vermuten aber an Keyhelp.

Hatte eben genau das Selbe Problem auf einem Testrechner an einem Unitymedia Kabelanschluss.
Nachdem ich IPv6 mit dem Befehl vorübergehend temporär deaktivert habe, lief die Installation an.
