Hi!

To explain the two versions: Keyhelp ist developed by the hosting company Keyweb (https://www.keyweb.de/en/).
They provide the regular version as free download on keyhelp.de.
The professional version is for customers of Keyweb only, e.g. when you rent a server at Keyweb they will install the professional version on it. As far as I know it is not planned to distribute the professional version as paid version. But if I remember correctly most of (or even all?) extra features of the professional version will be made available in the regular version sooner or later.

Best regards,
Lars

Again:
KeyHelp will remain free.

The version for KeyWeb customers:

So that's just a closed test version, related to the one-click application installation function.

So will generally come.

License price for vps and dedi server should be different.

Or if possible allow only buying certain features as addon to unlock? Like

-1-click installer
-1-click backup
-etc

The Pro edition actually contains:

One click application installer
SSH chroot environment
Dark mode (From KeyHelp 21.0)

Backup is free of charge and included within the community edition.

At the moment there are no plans of purchasing single feature licences.

Why do you think the price for VPS and bare metal should be different?

Because vps is mostly used for personal, by small business and can host lesser sites...

Whereas if bare metal that is used by the big guys and can host more clients.

Yet you charge them the same...

Other panels charge vps and dedicated license differently... Obviously vps license should be cheaper...

Also it should be better to be able to unlock certain features like hepsia as paid addon. Thats how freemium model works. People buy addons or extra that they need. Of course when keyhelp has more pro features already, it would be better to buy pro to get the whole features...

For now it makes sense to only charge for extra features as paid addons. Pay to unlock certian features

I appreciate your feedback, but the current pricing model is the way company management has decided to go for.

Of course, there will be more Pro features in the future.

In any case, there is always the possibility to use a Keyweb AG server (https://www.keyweb.de/en/hosting/server/), which always includes all Pro features for free.

I have both kinds of servers.
Some vps have even more ram and disk space than the smallest bare metal.
So I don't get your point.

Hi, to be honest, I would rather buy a lifetime license for 50 euros or so. With the ability to get new pro features during the year.

9 euro/month is a lot for single user (not company) :/ I pay for the vps $7

I have already suggested to the management to also offer a lifetime license. Maybe this will be added as an option in the future.

Furthermore, there is always the possibility to get a server from Keyweb AG (https://www.keyweb.de/en/hosting/server/). With all server products of the company KeyHelp Pro is included (starting from 4,90€).
