What are the requirements or recommendations for partitioning disks when installing Debian ?
It is planned to install a new Debian system and panel. The question is this. If I create / and /home partitions on one SSD, and /var and /tmp partitions on another SSD, will KeyHelp be able to determine the /var partition on another SSD itself in order to install all the necessary directories in it, or will it still create them in another partition?

Re: Partitioning disks. [SOLVED]
Mount / on the smallest disk and put /home on the biggest disk.
That way you have the most space available for users and websites as they are put in /home.
Debian itself doesn't require much space, so no need to make more partitions.

Got it, thanks. I just thought that Key Help places site folders in /var/wwwBasHeijermans wrote: ↑Tue 21. Mar 2023, 10:49 Mount / on the smallest disk and put /home on the biggest disk.

Re: Partitioning disks.
I only use one partition, because my biggest directory is /var because of mail and databses.BasHeijermans wrote: ↑Tue 21. Mar 2023, 10:49 Mount / on the smallest disk and put /home on the biggest disk.
