503 Fehler

Liebe KeyHelp-Freunde,

manchmal, scheinbar, wenn Bots sehr großzügig unsere Webseiten aufrufen wollen, kommen folgende Meldungen:

Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
--

Ein Neustart löst das Problem - daher deutet vieles auf eine Überlastung hin. Und es betrifft ja immer nur die Domains von bestimmten Benutzern. Daher vermute ich zu restriktive Einstellungen?

Du solltest doch nun inzwischen wissen, wie das hier läuft bzw. laufen soll... :?
Mit deratig vagen Infos kann man dein Problem nicht eingrenzen.

Das was du bisher beschreibst, kann 1000 Ursachen haben, zB. Konfiguration (was du vermutest), Netzwerkprobleme auf dem Host bzw. beim Anbieter, ein evtl dazwischen hängender DOS/DDOS Schutz, CDN, etc.

Also her mit brauchbaren Infos!
ZB. Logfileauszüge aus einem kurzen Zeitabschnitt direkt vor dem 503er...

BTW:
Wahrscheinlich wäre dein Problem besser im dafür vorgesehenen Forenbereich "Fehler / Probleme" aufgehoben...? :?

noch weiß ich ja nicht gar nicht, wo ich überhaupt mit der Suche beginnen soll. Drum kann ich ja auch die Frage nur vage stellen.

Heute war es beispielsweise so:
Eine Domain, die am meisten Traffic hat, hatte keine Probleme gemacht. Eine andere, nicht ganz so stark besuchte hingegen schon. Ich vermute daher, dass sie überlastet war (vielleicht ein Bot, der die Seite gecrawled hat). Liegen auf zwei verschiedenen Benutzern. Und Matomo, welches auf einem dritten Benutzer liegt, war auch vom 503 betroffen, eine andere dort liegende Domain eben nicht. Da Neustarts das Problem lösen, kann es tatsächlich nur temporär sein.

Die Konfiguration liegt im Standard - auch bei Fail2Ban keine Auffälligkeiten. Auf den ersten Blick also keine Sabotage sondern meiner Meinung nach andere Gründe. Auch nicht die Serverlast, denn die war nicht auffällig...

Bei einem 503 immer zuerst in der error log der betroffenen Domain.

Und ggf. das fpm log des users ansehen.

Genau für solche Fälle gibt es diverse Monitoringsysteme (Icinga, Zabbix, Nagios, whatever), wo man gerade solche 'temporären' Auffälligkeiten sehr gut überwachen und nachverfolgen kann. ;)

BTW:
Ich glaube ehrlich gesagt nicht, daß irgendwelche Webcrawler/Bots für dein Problem verantwortlich sind.
Das ist ganz normales Grundrauschen und dein Webserver sollte in der Standardkonfiguration sowas abfangen können, ohne daß da überhaupt was auffällt.

Genau, sieht eher nicht nach einem Crawler Problem aus, vermutlich wird irgendwo eine veraltete sicherheitskritische Installation attackiert ...

Das würde ich gerne bei einer laufend aktualisierten TYPO3 Versionen sowie aktuellen sicherheitsupdates und PHP 8.2 ausschließen. Zudem Dritter Fehler nicht regelmäßig sondern sporadisch auf. Aber beim nächsten Mal werde ich auf die Protokolle achten und diese analysieren. Aber das sollte ja auch nachträglich noch heute gehen.

Also PHP Protokoll welches direkt im Verzeichnis des Benutzers liegt?

der genannte Fehler deute auf ein Problem mit PHP-FPM hin. Also ist es zielführend das Log der genutzten PHP Version zu prüfen.

Hallo,

ja das ist ein Baustein, die Kind-Prozesse solltest du für den User auf jeden Fall erhöhen.

Allerdings deutet "SIGSEGV - core dumped" auf Speicherzugriffsfehler hin.

Ruf mal dmesg auf ob da segmentation faults aufgelistet werden.

Das kann dann ein Hardwareproblem sein oder Probleme mit einer Bibliothek oder ähnlichem weshalb PHP bei Zugriff dann abstürzt.
