Integrating ClamAV with Postfix for Email Scanning [SOLVED]
Integrating ClamAV with Postfix for Email Scanning
I am currently using KeyHelp to manage my server, and I have a question regarding email security. My server already has ClamAV installed, and I would like to integrate it with my Postfix mail server to scan incoming emails for viruses before they reach my Roundcube inbox. Could you please provide guidance on how to set this up?
Specifically, I am looking to:
Ensure ClamAV scans all incoming emails.
Quarantine any infected emails.
Maintain low CPU and I/O priority for the scanning process.
Here are the steps I have considered so far:
Integrate ClamAV with Postfix using amavisd-new.
Configure Postfix to use Amavis for email filtering.
Could you please confirm if this setup is possible with KeyHelp and provide any additional instructions or recommendations?
Thank you for your assistance.
Re: Integrating ClamAV with Postfix for Email Scanning [SOLVED]
if you use the standard Keyhelp installation the ClamAV is already activated in Amavis or Rspamd and scans all incoming mails
