Problembeschreibung / Fehlermeldungen
Ein Precheck des Updatescripts hat einen Fehler zu Tage gefördert, der nicht zwangsläufig Probleme verursacht, aber korrigiert werden sollte:

Bugreport:
The script defines check_curl twice (lines 143–148 and 151–158). In bash the second definition wins, so the call on line 318 does not verify that curl is installed — it only checks that -s and -c are not used together. The real curl check is never executed. If curl were missing, you’d get a confusing failure later on download instead of a clear message.

The comment on line 151 also says “Checks parameter sanity” but the function is still named check_curl.
