CPU usage

My vps provider is complaining my vps is using high cpu. Im the only one using keyhelp and use it for incoming mail only. I host some sites that barely get traffic.

While logged in I see my CPU is going to 8.33%

I checked process manager and fail2ban is using 700 mb. Is it normal for fail2ban to use that much? Is there a guide how to change my ssh port in keyhelp?

Thank you.

Thank you Florian

My provider now sent me another warning my vps is using huge amount of i/o

Edit:
Ive been said normal is 4 kb read but mine is using 8 mb read and this might be due to fail2ban. I did check processes from keyhelp admin and it is using 700 mb...

I changed my ssh prior to installing Keyhelp but after install, it changed it back to default. I think it's best to use custom port so fail2ban wont need to block many attempts.

May I pls ask someone to provide a guide on how to do this correctly with keyhelp?

At last step, it said I need to press enter so system will reboot. I press enter now and my ssh client disconnected. I can close it now and just reopen the client or I should wait?

Thank you.

After update, now fail2ban only using 20 mb. Maybe the log was huge before the update and after, it was purged?
