I have the full back-up of KH server via FTP on another FTP server, the backup running every day. Is it possible to just point/configure from the new server through the backup feature (from control panel) to that backup and restore the data from there?

Yes, this is possible.

I have tried it, I configure a new server with keyhelp, and the same domain that I had in the other one, in the new server I create the previous repository, I see the copies, and when executing the restoration I know that it is blocked, it does not do it and neither Then it allows me to enter the server.
