How can I change the default php version from 7.4 to 8.3 in Ubuntu 20?

The default php version of an OS should never be changed when running Keyhelp! This would cause all kind of undesired effects and break your system.

Instead, you can install additional php versions (in the KH UI, configuration settings), and then assign them to your domains.

There are already many threads on this subject here in the forum.

If you need cli access to different versions, there are binaries for each installed version, keyhelp-php version.

If you use KeyHelp pro, there is a new feature, where you can access the version defined for the specific domain, I can search the link later, but I’m currently not in the office, only on the iPad.
