I'm sure the cause of the problem is within KeyHelp
Started to happen after the upgrade

Server operating system + version
Ubuntu 24.04

KeyHelp version + build number
24.2

Problem description / error messages
2024-10-24T13:13:01.373590-03:00 server mariadbd[2046]: 2024-10-24 13:13:01 1063 [Warning] Aborted connection 1063 to db: 'keyhelp' user: 'keyhelp' host: 'localhost' (Got an error reading communication packets)

Expected result
I don't know if that is normal, because I don' t know what Keyhelp is doing there.

Steps to reproduce
Just checking the logs.

You did the UBUNTU update from V22 to V24?
Is this correct?

Question 1:
Did you use the official script?
https://www.keyweb.de/en/keyhelp/develo ... -ubuntu-24

Question 2:
Did you start the upgrade script again after the first reboot?
After restarting the server, restart the upgrade application with the command mentioned in section 1.).

Question 3:
Have you always kept the installed config files while upgrading?
The program flow is transferred to the Ubuntu application do-release-upgrade. Please follow the instructions of this program.
On questions about Should system config files be overwritten? answer with Keep the local version currently installed.

Hi,

- Upgraded from 22.04.

- Question 1, 2: Yes.

- Question 3:
The only config file I had to upgrade was /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.name. Otherwise named would never finish to start (see viewtopic.php?t=13518).

The rest of the config files were not replaced at all by the upgrade.

Hello,

Do these errors repeat regularly (each minute), or did they only occurred around this time?

Code: Select all

2024-10-24T13:13:01.373590-03:00 server mariadbd[2046]: 2024-10-24 13:13:01 1063 [Warning] Aborted connection 1063 to db: 'keyhelp' user: 'keyhelp' host: 'localhost' (Got an error reading communication packets)

If yes, can you check if both of the login credentials (keyhelp + keyhelp_root) from this file are working to log in into the database.

/etc/keyhelp/config/config.json
