Debian or Ubuntu? Which distro is preferred for Keyhelp?

:?: Dear Keyhelp, for the last time please mention which distro is preferred for Keyhelp installation, Debian or Ubuntu? And why?

There is no significant difference between using Debian or Ubuntu, as both operating systems are based on the same kernel. Personally, I prefer Debian, but this is more of a philosophical choice than a technical one.

'm not quite sure, but Debian 12 will definitely get rspamd installed with Keyhelp. I think Ubuntu still comes with amavis. So this would be a significant difference. The rest should be the same for both.

But honestly I want to know which distro is good for critical Keyhelp installation.

They both will do the job.
But Ubuntu has some flaws like Snapd, which can be a PITA on a server system. Go with the original and don't regret it :-)

If you are a beginner use Ubuntu.
Otherwise choose Debian.
