Weird issue with application drops listening until restarted.d
(Problems not related to KeyHelp belong in the Offtopic forum)
Server operating system + version
(e.g. Ubuntu 20.04)
Debian 12
Server virtualization technology used
(e.g. none, OpenVZ, KVM, XEN, etc.)
None
KeyHelp version + build number
(e.g. 22.0 - Build 2366)
25.3 (Build 3565) But has happned since i first installed keyhelp over a year ago so it's been multiple versions
Problem description / error messages
Since moving to keyhelp i've had an issue with the server where i also run inspircd instances. Randomly, the ircd's don't pick up connections and seem to drop off. But they are still running, just they drop all connections, and no one can connect until i restart them. It's like networking or maybe firewall is restarting and blocking them until they are restart. This has never happened before and only started with the move to keyhelp.
Looked through various logs but can't find anything.
Expected result
ircd's should stay running and listening to assigned ports (opened in firewall) until shutdown or restarted
Actual result
Steps to reproduce
Additional information
(e.g. recent changes to the server, excerpts from log files (/var/log/*, /var/log/keyhelp/php-error.log, etc.))
Re: Weird issue with application drops listening until restarted.d
make sure you have applied the changes to your firewall correctly. Please post the result of this command:
Code: Select all
iptables --list --numericAlexander Mahr
