Ist abr schon eine ganze Zeit her und die Ursache mag mittlerweile gefixt sein. Immerhin kannst du ja mal nachschauen, ob der Service überhaupt läuft (clamav-daemon.service) und ob bei

Das erste mal am 13.06. und das zweite mal am 20.06., ich weiß jetzt nicht wie oft die die Virescans ausgeführt werden, aber wenn es 1x die Woche ist, dann tritt es bisher jedes Mal aufAlexander wrote: ↑Mon 23. Jun 2025, 10:05 Taucht der Fehler den regelmäßig auf?
Du kannst ja mal den Befehl ausführen und gucken, ob Fehlermeldungen geworfen werden.
Der Befehl kann gern mal 1-2 Minuten brauchen, bis er abgeschlossen ist, also nicht ungeduldig werden.Code: Select all

entweder mal dmesg nutzen oder das syslog aufrufen. Dort sollte wenn vermerkt sein, ob der Prozess vom OOM-Killer getötet wurde.

Ich habe einen Ordner mit Nutzerdateien, wo Bilder drin sind, der Ordner ist aktuell 175 Mb groß lauttab-kh wrote: ↑Thu 26. Jun 2025, 14:24 Hmm. Es scheint also prinzipiell der Virenscanner zu funktionieren, er kann auch das Verzeichnis /root scannen ohne Probleme. Hast du vielleicht in irgendeinem Verzeichnis große Dateien liegen? Je größer die Datei, desto mehr RAM braucht der Scanner um sie zu scannen. Gescannt wird per Default, inklusive UnnterverzeichnisseWieviel RAM hat denn der Server?Code: Select all

Aufgrund der Bugs in ClamAV müsste man verifizieren, ob im konkreten Fall tatsächlich Memory Probleme vorliegen oder doch die Bugs das Problem sind. Anhand meiner zwei vergleichbar kleinen Server mit 4 GB RAM kann ich jedenfalls sagen, dass meine Virenscans fehlerfrei duchlaufen. Allerdings habe ich Swap eingerichtet und auch keine größeren Dateien in den User-Verzeichnissen. Zudem haben die beiden Serverchen derzeit außer Keyhelp nichts zu tun, da sie als Matomo-Server eingerichtet sind und ich derzeit keine Websites überwache. Die Swap-Nutzung geht auch ganz schön hoch bei den Scans, da wird jedes Mal circa 500 MB RAM von Userspace-Programmen in den Swap geschoben.
Hast Du Swap eingerichtet? Halte ich bei 4 GB RAM und installiertem Keyhelp für durchaus sinnvoll, wenn man nicht in mehr RAM investieren kann oder will. Andere halten es aber für sinnvoller, den OOM-Killer im Bedarfsfall für freies RAM sorgen zu lassen. Das wäre dann aber eher schon ein Hinweis darauf, dass ein Server mit mehr RAM sinnvoll sein könnte. Ich hatte Keyhelp aber auch schon auf Miniservern mit 1 GB RAM am Laufen, das war dann aber schon sehr grenzwertig und der OOM-Killer hat trotz eingerichtetem Swap öfter mal zugeschlagen.

Andererseits hab ich bei der Suche nach möglichen Problemen auch Hinweise gefunden, dass die in Keyhelp verwendete Version 1.0.7 Sicherheitslücken enthält und auch Bugs, die beim Scan bestimmer Dateitypen zum Absturz des Virenscanners führen können. Die (bisher bekannten) Sicherheitslücken könnten mit Update auf ClamAV 1.0.9 behoben werden, die gröbsten Bugs möglicherweise auch.
Aufgrund der Bugs in ClamAV müsste man verifizieren, ob im konkreten Fall tatsächlich Memory Probleme vorliegen oder doch die Bugs das Problem sind. Anhand meiner zwei vergleichbar kleinen Server mit 4 GB RAM kann ich jedenfalls sagen, dass meine Virenscans fehlerfrei duchlaufen. Allerdings habe ich Swap eingerichtet und auch keine größeren Dateien in den User-Verzeichnissen. Zudem haben die beiden Serverchen derzeit außer Keyhelp nichts zu tun, da sie als Matomo-Server eingerichtet sind und ich derzeit keine Websites überwache. Die Swap-Nutzung geht auch ganz schön hoch bei den Scans, da wird jedes Mal circa 500 MB RAM von Userspace-Programmen in den Swap geschoben.
Hast Du Swap eingerichtet? Halte ich bei 4 GB RAM und installiertem Keyhelp für durchaus sinnvoll, wenn man nicht in mehr RAM investieren kann oder will. Andere halten es aber für sinnvoller, den OOM-Killer im Bedarfsfall für freies RAM sorgen zu lassen. Das wäre dann aber eher schon ein Hinweis darauf, dass ein Server mit mehr RAM sinnvoll sein könnte. Ich hatte Keyhelp aber auch schon auf Miniservern mit 1 GB RAM am Laufen, das war dann aber schon sehr grenzwertig und der OOM-Killer hat trotz eingerichtetem Swap öfter mal zugeschlagen.
Also so wie es aussieht, hab ich kein Swap eingerichtet, das würde ich ja auf der Übersichtsseite bei "Server-Auslastung" sehen, richtig?

Keyhelp verwendet gar keine Version. Es wird die Version installiert, die das jeweilige Betriebssystem liefert.
